Nurses play a critical role in the society, and honouring them for their loyalty and service is something that should come naturally. Mayberry Investments Limited, continues to show support for this group year after year. The company recently hosted the Nurses Association 23rd anniversary banquet, at the Alhambra Inn, with distinguished guest speaker, Dr Wayne Henry.

The Retired Nurses’ Association, along with Mayberry, has made significant strides in maintaining such an initiative for nurses who have invested their time, patience, and knowledge in the health sector.

According to Kayree Berry, CEO of Mayberry Investments Limited, “This partnership is Mayberry’s way of giving back, not only supporting the Retired Nurses’ Association Annual Luncheon, but to also bring them financial knowledge, which will assist them in being financially viable.”

Words of wisdom

She was excited to share her words of wisdom to the retired guests and implore them to prepare themselves on becoming financially stable for their families and future.

With the increase in nurses’ migration, Mayberry’s mandate is to bridge the gap for nurses so that they can feel supported mentally and financially and have long-term viability in Jamaica.

The retired nurses have managed to positively impact and make Jamaica a little warmer for persons to coexist by healing patients daily, and Mayberry hopes to make their lives a little more comforting now that they have retired.

They toasted the ups and downs shared over the years, but most important, their contribution to nurturing the well-being of citizens.

“Thanks to Mayberry for their continuous support to the Retired Nurses’ Association and we will maintain our relationship for years to come,” ended Carmen Johnson, president of the Retired Nurses Association.
