Over the past week, the social circuit in western Jamaica has been buzzing with a series of very interesting events. Topping the list was the crowning of the 2015 Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Festival Queen for St James, and the grand opening of the Grand Palladium Point Ridge Health and Wellness Centre. Today we will be taking a look at both events as they unfolded for the lens of Gleaner photographers Claudia Gardner and Christopher Thomas. In addition, we will be giving you a little 'Something Extra' from the educational sector.
