There is nothing more adorable than seeing cute, confident children strutting their stuff on a runway. Well, the famed B3 Parenting Magazine has made this a reality, adding a new addition to their repertoire, Island Child Style.

Two Thursday ago, parents, children, sponsors and designers were invited to the launch held at the Jamaica Pegasus.

Island Child Style is a children's fashion show - that will feature collections from local, regional and international designers. The first of its kind in the Caribbean, it will showcase lines dedicated to children's fashion,

The meet-and-greet got under way with young DJ Tzyion mixing at the turntables. First up to the mic was CEO of B3 Magazine, and conceptualiser of Island Child Style, Michelle Gordon, who welcomed specially invited guests.

Guest speaker for the event model and actress on the Real Housewives of Atlanta and momtrepreneur - owner of the Bailey Agency School of Fashion - Cynthia Bailey gave the event her blessing via a video broadcast. she noted that she was looking forward to coming to Jamaica to attend the grand event.

Also involved in the very short formalities were Island Child Style partner and CEO of eMedia Tyrone Wilson and Steven Pottinger from Saint International.

Known for discovering supermodels, the model agency will be hosting a casting call tomorrow at the Port Antonio Suite of the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for aspiring models between the ages of four to 14 years old.

An impressive list of local and international designers have already signed on for the event, including Neah Lis, Julan, drennaLUNA, Carlton Brown, Flower Child 1999 and Anthony Reid, all of whom will be creating children's collections for the event.

There will also be three child designers - sisters Solae and Sahai Panton (eight and nine years old) under the label SolSai, as well as eight-year-old Raina Vaz, who will be launching Diva Designs by Raina.

The young designers will be mentored and guided by designer ASD's Ayanna Dixon and stylist Norma Williams.

Island Child Style is set for Saturday, June 4, so mark that date and celebrate fierce young fashion.
