A 3D Finale for Dexter Pottinger's Legacy
It was called a celebration, and guests turned up to do just that for the life and legacy of fashion designer and stylist Dexter '3D' Pottinger last Sunday at Straun Castle, Stony Hill, in St Andrew.
Family, friends, and persons inspired by his work, lifestyle, and levity paid tribute to the designer by dressing in their most avant-garde ensemble which Dexter Pottinger would have approved of for the event dubbed 3D Finale Red Carpet Gala.
Emotions ran high as the love and respect for Pottinger were portrayed in various forms of art. Dexter himself was a man whose passion was embedded within creative arts and touched many lives both locally and internationally.
"Dexter will never be forgotten," said family friend Jordan Jarrett, who performed Lay Me Down by Sam Smith.
It was an event of which Pottinger would approve as his presence and essence were felt throughout the evening, which ended with a party of a mix of soca and dancehall.
Dexter '3D' Pottinger was a man of many hats, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who he inspired.
