While the Guardian Group celebrated success at its 18th annual awards ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel last Saturday, on Tuesday, the Embassy of the Dominican Republic was celebrating the 175th anniversary of that country's independence. This was no ordinary reception. Guests took to the dance floor while enjoying cigars and cocktails galore.
