Sagicor advisers strike hot in Mandeville
Sagicor executives and financial advisers turned out at the Sagicor Life Jamaica, Mandeville branch’s awards ceremony on Thursday, March 13, to celebrate and honour team members for excelling throughout the year.
During the ceremony, held at the Moreland Estate Clubhouse in Mandeville
Mark Chisholm, executive vice-president, Sagicor Life Jamaica, hailed the awardees, noting that they have contributed to the strong performance of the Sagicor brand. He further congratulated the Mandeville branch for its continued commitment to high performance.
“The work that you as financial advisers do continue to make a major difference to the protection and wellness of our community. We salute you for all you do to give great service,” he said.
Top adviser Virie McDaniel walked away with the trophy for Adviser of the Year and the trophy for Best Premium Income. The first-year commission and most cases trophies were won by Glenroy Castle, while Michelle McIntyre took home the coveted Rookie of the Year trophy.
The annual awards ceremony also recognises financial advisers who qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), a global, independent association of life insurance and financial services professionals; as well as qualifiers to the Century Club, advisers who completed over 100 cases during the year.
The Mandeville branch also used the occasion to donate $50,000 to a Manchester-based charity, Candle in the Dark, which aids the homeless and mentally challenged. An additional $200,000 was committed to the charity by the Sagicor Life Field Managers’ Association.
