Mark Golding was yesterday sworn in as leader of the opposition. The St Andrew Southern member of parliament – who emerged victorious in Saturday’s People’s National Party presidential election – received his instrument of appointment in the company of his family and colleagues at a small ceremony held at King’s House. In his first speech, Golding promised that the Opposition, under his leadership, would be constructive, fearless and unrelenting. Here are the highlights.
