Jon Grant girls surprise St Jago
Jonathan Grant High completed a double victory over St Jago High in Group B action of the urban Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) schoolgirls netball competition on Wednesday.
Seeking their third win in a row in both the junior and senior competition, St Jago could not produce their winning form in front of their home fans.
Jonathan Grant juniors first took care of business over their opponents defeating St Jago 19-11 before the seniors won 26-22.
In another Group B encounter, Holy Childhood Juniors remained perfect this season, picking up their third win in a row after whipping Eltham 33-7.
Wolmer's Girls, playing at home in Group E, had mixed fortune. Their juniors defeated Mona High 26-8 but the seniors were clipped 16-14.
Holy Childhood Juniors made it three from three in Group B as they over powered Eltham 33-7 to lead the group .
