Bolt, Gatlin meet again for 200m cracker

Usain Bolt will go in search of his fourth straight World Championships 200m title when he contests the final at 7:55 a.m.

Bolt, who will run out of lane six, will be joined by countryman Nickel Ashmeade who will be in lane eight.

Bolt was extremely comfortable in winning his 200m semi-final in 19.95 seconds, his first sub-20-seconds time since the final at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow.

The 29-year-old will be seeking to add to his 100m title which he won over the American Justin Gatlin by 100th of a second.

Gatlin, whose 19.87 seconds makes him the fastest qualifier heading into the final, will run out of lane four.

Ashmeade, who has had a disappointing championship, having missed out on the 100m final, ran 20.19 to place second in his heat - just 100th of a second outside of his season best 20.18.

The 25-year-old will, however, likely need to get back to his personal best of 19.85 back in 2012, to stand a chance of a medal.
