World University Games: Forbes cops gold in women's 100m

Jamaica is off the mark at the World University Games in Chinese Taipei with a gold medal in the women's 100 metres.
World Championships 4x100 metres bronze medallist, Shashalee Forbes, won the event on Thursday in 11.18 seconds. The G.C. Foster College student finished ahead of Irene Siragusa of Italy, 11.31, and Salome Kora of Switzerland who was third in 11.33.
Tyquendo Tracy just missed out on a medal in the men's 100 metres after finishing fourth in 10.28 seconds. Gold medal went to home town boy, Chun-Han Yang in 10.22.
