FLOW brings Champs Party Zone to bleachers
Patrons attending the upcoming ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Championships will have a chic and shaded vantage point from which to enjoy the Games come March 20-24.
Flow, the exclusive telecommunications partner for 'Champs', has announced the inclusion of the first ever "Flow Party Zone" in this year's staging. Expected to accommodate more than 1,000 patrons in the Bleachers section of the stadium, the new concept will also provide a premium experience inclusive of complimentary drinks, novelty items, free Flow Wi-Fi, and will be hosted by some of Jamaica's hottest emcees.
"We see this as an attractive alternative to the Grandstand this year," shared Stephen Miller, Flow's sponsorship manager, who spoke at the official press launch on March 7. During the launch, Miller shared that the company was extremely proud to continue its longstanding support for track and field through the sponsorship and remains keen on finding new and creative ways to enhance the region's most prestigious athletic event.
On March 2, Flow also launched Flow Fast Track to Champs, an online game portal that provides a fun and engaging opportunity to win premium tickets and other attractive prizes. The grand-prize winner will receive a $250,000 shopping spree at Flow and a donation of $100,000 to a school of their choice.
Miller explained that "in-keeping with trends commonly found in any large international sporting event across the globe, 'Flow Fast Track' uses digital technology to drive fan engagement and interest. Each day we will issue a new challenge that will send users scurrying around within their communities for a chance to win great prizes." The winner of the Flow Fast Track online game will be decided on March 24, 2018 marks the 15th consecutive year that Flow has partnered with ISSA to stage the Games.
