HARARE, West Indies, (CMC):
West Indies, electing to bat first, reached 197 for eight off their 50 overs in their first Super Sixes match against Afghanistan at Harare Sports Club on Thursday.
The regional team's batsmen found things difficult with Shai Hope getting the most runs - 43 and Marlon Samuels, 36 and Jason Holder, 28 offering most support.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman 3-33 and Mohammad Nabi 2-43 got most wickets for Afghanistan, who were on 12 for 1 after three overs in their response with the bat.
