Commonwealth Games 2018 | Athletes impress in 200m heats

All the Jamaicans secured safe passage from their 200m heats inside the Carrara Stadium, at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
In the female event, Shericka Jackson was impressive in clocking a comfortable 22.87 in winning her heat and she will be joined in Wednesday's semi-finals (5:10 a.m.) by Elaine Thompson, who also won her heat in 23.09 seconds and Sashalee Forbes, who was second in hers, in a time of 22.88.
Warren Weir won his heat in 20.60 seconds and is through to the semis, which start at 5:58 a.m. on Wednesday.
Defending champion Rasheed Dwyer clocked an easy 20.78 in winning his semi-final, while Kenroy Anderson was second in his with a time of 20.89.
