Germany crash out of World Cup

Defending Champions Germany have become the first major casualty of the FIFA World Cup, after their 2-0 loss to South Korea in Kazan, Russia this morning.

The Germans struggled to make their possession of the ball count while the South Koreans employed a counter attacking game and got their goals through Young-Gwon Kim, in the fourth minute of stoppage time, and Heung-Min Son in the seventh minute of stoppage time.

The result, coupled with Sweden's 3-0 win over Mexico means Sweden wins Group F with six points, same as runners up Mexico. South Korea finish third on three points, same as Germany, but with a better goal difference.
