Thank God, says Ricardo 'Magic Man' Salas after Contender Series win

Canadian Ricardo 'Magic Man' Salas last night defeated Jamaican Richard 'frog' Holmes by unanimous decision in the final of the 2018 Wray and Nephew Contender Series at the National Indoor Sports Centre.

Following a great start by the Jamaican who dominated the first three rounds, Salas came back strong after the third round and had the better of the fight.

The Canadian described the fight as "complicated" but was grateful for the win.

"Thank God I came here prepared and was able to do it," said Salas.

He won a cash prize of $2 million.
