The following JFF Women's League matches are scheduled for today::

ZONE A

4 p.m.: Cavalier SC vs Frazsiers Whip FC - Alpha Institute Grounds

4 p.m.: Rangers FC vs St. Ann Women's FC - St Mary Sports Complex

ZONE B

4:00 p.m.: SC Monarchs vs Olympic Gardens FC - Royal Lakes playing field

4:00 p.m.: Arnett Gardens FC vs Trelawny Women's FC - Anthony Spaulding Complex

 

Belair Boyz in Top Notch semis

 

Belair Boys became the first team to book their spot in the semi-finals of the Top Notch Summer Football league in Manchester after defeating All Star Strikers 1-0. Marvin Young's second-half strike from a Howard "Chemist" Daley assist proved good enough to keep Belair Boyz undefeated. They still have one preliminary-round game to complete their fixtures.

Belair Boyz lead Zone 1 with 15 points, followed by the pair of Albion and United All Stars on seven points each and Madrid on six points. All Stars Strikes are on five points with Fresh Start (4) and Pro Hardware (2).

In Zone 2, the previously undefeated Generation United were upset 4-3 by Providence, and Contrivance blanked United Hearts 3-0. With one round of games to be played in each zone, three spots are still available for the semi-finals. Despite their loss, Generation United still lead Zone 2 with 12 points followed by Central United 11, Galaxy (10), and Providence (9).

Contrivance vs Providence United

All Star Strikers vs Pro Hardware.

 

Tuff Gong advance to Porus Under-15 semis

 

Defending champions Tuff Gong booked the first semi-final spot in the Western Union-sponsored Porus Under-15 competition when they whipped Settlement 5-1 in mid-week action.

Tuff Gong, who drew 1-1 with Litchfield on opening day, are on seven points after also beating Rising Star 4-2.

Also earlier this week, Villa collected two consecutive wins, knocking over both Genus and Connection by 3-0 results. In earlier matches, Litchfield and Settlement ended 0-0. while Connection ended 1-1 with Galaxy.

No matches will be played tomorrow, but two are scheduled for Monday. In the first game at 3:30 p.m., it will be Litchfield against Rising Star before Villa face Galaxy at 5:30 p.m.
