Good performances from Team Jamaica

Jamaica’s Special Olympics team continued its impressive form at the 2019 Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates yesterday.
Rajae Patterson finished second in his heat in the 400m event, clocking 57.10 seconds. Deron Williams Forbes of The Bahamas won the race in 55.10 seconds.
Brandy Clemetson managed 18.70 seconds for fifth in his heat in the male 100m run, while Paula-Aye Whylie stopped the clock at 14.78 in her 100m run.
Today, Yeshima Stuart will be the first Jamaican on the track when she contests the women’s 400m run. Her teammate, Monique Johnson, will run her heat also.
Daeshawn Green is the lone entrant in the 100m run for the men.
