DOHA 2019| Three Jamaicans targeting medals today
Three Jamaicans are targeting a place on the medal podium as the IAAF World Championships continue today from Doha, Qatar.
Danniel Thomas-Dodd will compete in the Women's Shot Put final starting at 2:35pm.
Thomas-Dodd, the Pan American Games champion, qualified for the final throwing 19.32m in the qualification round.
Also looking to add to Jamaica's medal tally will be Shericka Jackson and Stephenie-Ann Mcpherson who will contest the Women's 400m final at 3:50pm.
The duo will line up side by side in lanes two and three respectively.
Meanwhile, Shaneika Ricketts and Kimberly Williams will be in action in the Women's Triple Jump qualifying round which starts at 8:40am.
Both athletes will hope to attain the automatic qualifying standard of 14.30m to advance to the final.
