Mount Pleasant Academy defeated Humble Lion 1-0 in their Jamaica Premier League fixture today at the UWI/JFF/Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence.

 

Francois Swaby scored in the 68th minute as Mount Pleasant managed to find the breakthrough after two penalty attempts were saved by Humble Lion goalkeeper Mihkhail Harrison in the first half.

 

Humble Lion's best chance came in the first half from Gregory Lewis but his header went over the bar.

 

The Clarendon-based Humble Lion team are still waiting for their first win of the season, after losing 2-0 to Cavalier last week.

 

Mount Pleasant drew 0-0 with Tivoli Gardens in their opening match.
