JGA announces partnership with Quatro Gymnastics
The Jamaica Gymnastics Association (JGA) has signed a multi-year partnership with United Kingdom-based Quatro Gymnastics, an apparel company.
The partnership, which will be extended through to the next Olympic cycle, will see Quatro becoming the official leotard supplier for Jamaica’s gymnasts.
The agreement includes gymnastics scunchies, warm-up suits, grip bags, and backpacks all branded with Quatro’s and Jamaica’s logos. The company will also provide a monetary contribution of US$4,000 per year towards youth development.
“It is such a pleasure to be working with Quatro, as they are an innovative leader in this industry with a reputation to deliver dynamic designs that stand out from the crowd,” JGA President Nicole Grant-Brown said.
“We know that our gymnasts should look and feel like winners before they even step on to the competition floor.”
Grant-Brown says this is a boost to the JGA, especially because of the economic difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“At this time with COVID, we are surprised that companies have been out there seeking out our attention, and we have had several companies wanting to sponsor us,” she said.
“Quatro’s beautiful designs, quality construction, and fit that is engineered for a gymnast’s body made my decision easy to choose this partnership moving forward.” Kelly McKeown, president of North America and Global Sales, says Quatro is delighted to be associated with the JGA.
“We will be working closely with Nicole to support the needs of the Jamaica gymnastic teams as they strengthen and grow the grass-roots programmes that will produce future Olympic gymnasts,” McKeown said. “This partnership celebrates our commitment to support the sport and showcases our continued passion to build strong relationships globally.”
