Jamaica's Reggae Boyz and Canada are locked at 0-0 at half time in their FIFA World Cup qualifier at the National Stadium in Kingston on Sunday afternoon.

The Jamaicans started the match brightly as they dominated the early exchange.

In fact, Kemar Roofe should have given the Reggae Boyz the lead in the 23rd minute.

However, his header from 10-yards after a well taken free kick from Junior Flemmings sailed wide of the Canadian goal.

Jamaica was forced to make a change in the 37th minute after right back Alvas Powell pulled up injured and was replaced by midfielder Devon Williams.

The Reggae Boyz, who camped out in the Canadian half for majority of the first half, missed an opportunity to take the lead in the 40th minute.

Flemmings was the guilty player after his weak close range header was cleared off the goal line by Canadian defender Samuel Piette. The Reggae Boyz picked up two yellow cards in the half.

Oniel Fisher was shown a yellow card in the seventh minute while Je-Vaughn Watson picked up the Jamaicans' second yellow carded in the 16th minute.
