Jamaica lose 1-0 to Costa Rica, eliminated from World Cup

Jamaica have been eliminated from contention for a spot at the 2022 World Cup after losing 1-0 to Costa Rica at the National Stadium this evening.

Joel Campbell scored the lone goal in the 62nd minute as the Reggae Boyz, despite dominating possession and having the majority of the chances, lost their sixth game of the campaign and their third at home.

Jamaica needed to win their remaining games, including tonight's encounter and depend on other results to stand a chance at making it to Qatar.
