St Andrew High School's Jo-Anna Pinnock leaped to 12.30 metres and top spot in the JAAA Carifta Trials under-20 triple jump at the National Stadium on Sunday.

Pinnock achieved the jump on the first time of asking, her next best attempt measuring 12.16m.

Jade-Ann Smith of Excelsior High finished third with an effort measured at 11.94 metres.

Rounding out the top five places were Hydel High's Sherika Christian with a leap of 11.63m and Edwin Allen's Paula-Ann Chambers with 11.56m.
