The records just keep coming for Jamaica's Dionjah Shaw.

After lowering the Class Three discus record at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships for Edwin Allen, Shaw set a new mark of 45.32m to win the Girls' Under-17 discus title at the 2022 Carifta Games on inside the National Stadium earlier.

Shaw's effort erased the decade-old Carifta Under-17 mark set by Jamaica's Paul Ann Gayle (43.99).

Her teammate Rehanna Biggs ensured a one-two finish, earning a silver with 42.41 while Adriana Quamina of Trinidad and Tobago got bronze in 35.23.
