Parchment opens with world lead at Velocity Fest

Olympic 110m hurdles champion Hansle Parchment made a big statement in his season opener, winning his pet event at Velocity Fest inside the National Stadium with a new World leading time.

Parchment clocked 13.20 seconds for victory to top the effort of the United States' Trey Cunningham, who clocked 13.22 on April 16 in Florida.

Rasheed Broadbell of Elite Performance Track Club was second in 13.31 and Legacy Athletics Michael O'Hara was third in a personal best of 13.52.
