WI vs Bangladesh | Brathwaite, Campbell make slow progress
West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell have so far batted 15 overs and scored just 15 runs in reply to Bangladesh’s first innings score of 103 all out at tea on day one of the first Test in Antigua and Barbuda.
Brathwaite will resume on nine after facing 55 balls while Campbell is not out on one after 36 deliveries, as the hosts trail by 88 runs with 10 wickets in hand.
Earlier, pacer Alzzari Joseph claimed a career-best three wickets for 33 runs and Jayden Seales also bagged three for 33, as the tourists folded for 103 after resuming on 76 for six after lunch.
Kemar Roach also weighed in with two for 21 while Kyle Mayers took two for 10, as only captain Shakib Al Hasan put up any real resistance with a fighting 51, which included six fours and a six.
