NZ clinch ODI series

New Zealand (NZ) defeated West Indies by five wickets on Sunday night to clinch the three-match One Day International (ODI) series 2-1.

In a high scoring match at Kensington Oval in Barbados, the West Indies, after being sent into bat, piled up an impressive 301 for eight off their 50 overs. Kyle Mayers (105) struck his second ODI hundred from 110 balls and captain Nicholas Pooran slammed 91 from just 55 deliveries while prolific opener Shai Hope chipped in with 51. Trent Boult took three for 53.

In reply New Zealand made 307 for five off 47.1 overs with Tom Latham getting 69, Daryl Mitchell 63, Martin Guptill 57, Devon Conway 56 and James Neesham 34 not out. Jason Holder took two for 37.
