KC drub Waterford 8-0
Kingston College (KC) all but secured their place in the second round of the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup after defeating Waterford 8-0 in their Group A game at the Stadium East field this afternoon.
The defending champions were fueled by a second half hattrick from Nashordo Gibbs (58th, 65th and 66th minutes) while they got tallies from Jaheem Johnson (30th), Ashaine Kennedy (32nd), Dujuan Richards (45th), Tajarie Lee (85th) and Bryan Byam in the 88th.
Both Waterford’s goalkeepers were injured with outfield player Richard Wasome playing in goal for the latter stages of the game.
KC remain in first place with 21 points, three points ahead of second place St George's College (18), who defeated Calabar 2-1.
