Women's World Cup trophy will be here April 17

Jamaica will be one of the stops on the FIFA Women's World Cup trophy tour.

The trophy will arrive in Jamaica on April 17 and is one of the 40 cities that will take part in the tour, as the road to the 2023 World Cup continues. The trophy will be on display at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston before it goes on a road tour of Montego Bay.

The trophy will make its last top at the Holiday Inn Hotel before travelling to Toronto, Canada where it will be hosted from April 19-20.

Jamaica will face France, Panama and Brazil in their World Cup group this summer. The Reggae Girlz are currently preparing for the tournament and will play a friendly against Sheffield United at the Kings Power Stadium in Leicester City on April 10.
