GC Foster College's Michael Sharp is a picture of composure after winning heat three of the men's 200-metre qualifiers at the JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium earlier today.

GC Foster College’s Andrae Dacres booked his spot in the main draw of the men’s 200 metres at the JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium this morning.

Dacres was the fastest of the qualifiers, clocking 21.25 to win heat four. Teammate Michael Sharp, winner of heat three, also punched his ticket with a time of 21.27.

Mazinho Barrett (21.54), Rodaine Arscott (21.68), Jahnoy Thompson (21.73), Alton Mckenley Jr. (22.07) and Davede Buckham (22.15) were the other qualifiers through to the semifinals, which starts at 6:20 p.m.
