The date for a challenge to the presidency of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has been set for January 14 next year, according to a release from the organisation this morning.

The release went on to set the deadline for nominations to the position of president, four vice-presidents and one ordinary member at November 29.

The position of president at the JFF has come in for scrutiny in recent months, with vice-president, Raymond Anderson, voicing an interest.

Anderson is yet to announce his slate but has been very focal about having a powerful team in place to handle the business of the country’s football should he be elected.

Both Anderson and current president, Michael Ricketts, have voiced confidence in being named to the top job at the end of the process.
