At least three dead in vehicle smash

GEORGETOWN, Guyana (CMC):
At least three people were killed and several others injured when two vehicles collided along the Essequibo Coast late last Friday night.
The Guyana-based Demerara Waves Online News said that the death toll could rise, and that as many as 16 people were injured when the car collided with a minibus on the Richmond Village Park Road.
It said that six of the injured were air-dashed early yesterday morning to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation for further treatment.
