It's D-Day for 'The Anchor' finalists

Many came but only eight remain on 'The Anchor' - the newest reality television show on CVM-TV. After five weeks of auditions, the judges have narrowed the field down to six women and two men who will compete for $1.5 million in prizes.

The producers decided to throw them in the deep end by removing them from the safe confines of the studio and giving them 'stand-up' assignments on city streets where each finalist has to work alone.

Considering that the winner of the competition will not only win $500,000 but a guaranteed contract on CVM TV, the producers felt it was critical that the finalist learn the tools of the trade from the best in the business.

See how much they have learnt when the next episode of 'The Anchor' airs on CVM-TV on Monday night at 9 with a repeat broadcast at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
