It's crunch time on The Anchor
The votes of the viewers have been tabulated and one of the finalists on 'The Anchor' must pack his or her bag next Monday night, leaving only six to face the challenges ahead.
For the first seven episodes, the elimination process has gone on with little enmity among the finalists. Now it's crunch time and with the tidy sum of $500,000 plus a television contract awaiting the winner, the gloves have finally come off. The friendly gestures are less evident as each finalist has his or her eyes on the prize.
Sharp and balanced critiques by the judges help to distil the viewers' perspective and give subtle pointers as to what will make one a good anchor. The question still remains - Who will win the coveted prize?
From makeshift sets to stand-ups on the street, this week the finalists will graduate to their very own studio set that they will call home until the final episode. See them grow into the role of 'The Anchor' on CVM-TV, Monday at 9 p.m. and Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
