Fear of God lacking

It doesn't surprise me why people are killing children, why demon-possessed men are raping children, both girls and boys. I am not surprised. You must truly have the fear of GOD in you not to commit such sinful actions. The Bible tells us these are the last days. The word of God shall come to pass. God did not plan this; the human race did, because we make choices to do good or bad. We cannot fool God, He knows our hearts. He will not force us to do His will ,we have a choice. So I will do the best I can to teach young boys and girls how to try to stay safe, speak out !! May God have mercy on us all.

Police seizure of car

I am writing this letter to get information on how to get a car back after you have paid the fines that were imposed on you and then you take your papers to the Elletson Road police for it to be signed and released. It is a problem when we get to the police station. I would like to know what's the procedure when your car gets confiscated by the police.

Passport blues

I am still mourning the loss of my only sister who died a few days ago in Toronto, Canada; but to add to my grief, I was rebuffed by the cold harsh bureaucracy of the passport office. I was denied the renewal of my passport, expired last November; because I couldn't produce my birth certificate, lost during hurricane Dean.

I believe special consideration should be given to senior citizens over 80 years of age.

Apology accepted, pm

Let us welcome and accept the prime minister's apology to the nation for the damage he has done, concerning the Manatt Phelps & Phillips's saga.

If his apology is earnest and sincere then our acceptance will not go in vain, and time will tell, with the display of a healthy conscience instead of a guilty one.

An apology, in a sense, is like putting yourself in a position of reclaiming your authority. If he had not apologised, it would be like disrespect to the Jamaican people. He would have lost respect and dignity from the people if he had not done so. Furthermore, it would be a big set back for him and his government in going forward and getting national support.

With such an apology, Mr Golding has regained and retained his dignity.
