On Wednesday, June 2, at the Carib 5, divas and fashionistas got all dolled up for a night that promised to be a true red-carpet extravaganza. It was the premiere of Sex and the City 2. Sponsored by Smirnoff, specially invited guests were treated to Smirnoff cocktails throughout the premiere. Many of those cocktails had patrons oohing and ahhhing about the varied mixes. Apart from being stylish, the cocktails had very unique names such as 'Mr Big', 'Just a kiss' and 'New York'.

Sex and the City 2 was supposed to have been the main attraction, however, it was the ladies who seemed to grab all the attention. Sashaying across the lobby, cocktail in hand, showcasing the wide array of fashions while taking the time out to stop and pose for the cameras in front of the Smirnoff stop-and-repeat banner, the ladies were spectacular.

Throughout the theatre, there were gal pals sharing with others who their favourite character was and who they were channelling through their own sense of style. Unexpectedly, there was an overwhelming number of 'Carries' at the premiere.
