Pulse's new Vogue covergirl heads home for CFW
Vogue's Style.com named her one of the stars to watch at this season's New York Fashion Week. Now, as her first Vogue hits news stands worldwide, Pulse's fast-rising supermodel Sedene Blake heads to Jamaica for Caribbean Fashionweek, scheduled for June 15-21.
Blake appears on the cover of the June edition of the Italian Vogue Beauty and had the good fortune of booking this, her first job as an international model, a week into her career. She is now the second Pulse model to appear on a Vogue cover and joins an expansive roster of Pulse models who have shot for the most important fashion publication in the industry.
The Jamaican beauty is the essence of youthful elegance as she lounges in the summer's latest bikinis on Miami Beach. Shot by highly acclaimed photographer Greg Lotus, the six-page cover and editorial is expected to catapult Blake to another level.
Blake was introduced to the global marketplace last November and has since shot five fashion stories for four editions of Vogue, editorials for Pop, V and has also landed gigs for Calvin Klein.
The latest Pulse star smashed runway records set by colleague Jaunel Mckenzie when she scored 40 shows in her debut at New York Fashion Week in February.

She has gone on to London, Milan and Paris and amassed more than 60 shows for the Fall-Winter show season walking for top design houses.
Blake continues to impress the major clients since the post-show season and has flown to Los Angeles and Dallas to shoot Target and Niemann Marcus, respectively.
And as Blake prepares to return to Jamaica for Caribbean Fashion-week, she will travel to London for bookings and is also holding options in New York for another editorial with Italian Vogue, to be shot by Craig McDean.
