'Leading Lady' collection to be featured at CFW
Keneea Linton, a young designer who made her mark in 2007 on the Caribbean Fashionweek runway, will again be at the week-long event, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Linton's 2010 collection, which is dubbed 'Leading Lady', will capture old Hollywood glamour, sophistication and elegance embodied by the silver screen icons of the 1950s and '60s.
The style savvy of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly are also inspiration for the collections. Her signature colours, black and ivory will also be a major feature of the line and her use of chartreuse will add an element of youth and vitality.
Since that fateful showing at Caribbean Fashionweek three years ago, her resume has swelled with a number of showings in Miami and New York.
Linton has also dressed contestants in both the Miss Jamaica Universe and Miss Jamaica World competitions and has been featured in She Caribbean, Jamrock and Caribbean Belle magazines.
