The Reggae Jammin brand is usually synonymous with burger meat, but recently they have added a new product, Reggae Jammin Chicken Frankfurters. Best Dressed Foods producers of Reggae Jammin answered the many requests from customers by creating the chicken frankfurters, a breakfast favourite among children and adults, which was launched on March 7 at Hope Gardens.

Oliver Mair, Reggae Jammin's sales and marketing manager, said it is an ongoing process to ascertain the needs of valued customers at Best Dressed Foods, and frankfurters have been one of the most requested products from previous consumer research.

"It was an opportune time to satisfy those needs and once again present a product that is not only high in quality but also economical," said Mair.

Reggae Jammin brand officer Karis-Ann Rhoden said since the launch they have received great reviews.

"The Reggae Jammin line of products is known for protein that is flavourful, convenient and easy to prepare, and the frankfurter exemplifies these attributes along with its distinct signature (hickory smoked) flavour that literally invites your taste buds to a party," said Rhoden.

She told The Gleaner that the new frank is all natural with no artificial colouring and does not contain MSG. Plus, it is also relatively cheaper than other brands on the market, giving customers the choice of a quality local product.

She added that expansion plans are currently in the pipeline, but we will just have to wait for them. So far, the frankfurters can be found in all local supermarkets and wholesale and is available in packs of five, 10 and 20.

The Reggae Jammin team, along with Best Dressed Foods food/decor specialist, Jacqui Tyson, visited The Gleaner's editorial floor and gave staff a chance to sample some breakfast alternatives using the new breakfast frankfurters cooked on the spot.
