Kensington will contest the final of the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) Senior Cup. However, they will have to wait for at least another week to know who their opponents will be after the St Thomas versus St Mary semi-final at Palmer's Park ending in a no-result draw.
Kensington, who will be returning to the final after being eliminated during the final four last season, triumphed over Clarendon on the back of good bowling performances from left-arm spinner Dennis Bulli and leg-spinner Akeem Dewar at Kensington Park.
Clarendon made 84 and 192, and Kensington, in reply, conjured up 162 and 50-1.
Bulli with 4-22 and Dewar 3-29 led the way for the home team in Clarendon's first innings, which in their reply Ranville Brown, 37, Ryan Francis, 29, Horace Miller, 22 and Maurice Kepple, 19, made most runs.
Blazing 75
In their second turn at bat, Clarendon were led by a blazing 75 from wicketkeeper batsman, Kirk Harris against Dewar, 2-56.
"It has been a tremendous effort by the team thus far. We just need to do some more work in practice and prepare for the final," said Kensington captain, Bulli.
"It is three years now that have been playing in this division and we want to come out and qualify for the Super League," he added.
At Palmer's Park, visiting St Thomas made 157 and 122, while St Mary, in reply, recorded an equal 157 and 120-5 when bad light stopped play, two runs short of their target.
