Reverend Al Miller - Ricardo Makyn/Staff Photographer

Below are excerpts from online readers' reaction to Monday's lead story of Pastor Al Miller explaining his actions in the Christopher 'Dudus' Coke affair.

Stop playing into the hands of Al Miller. He loves the camera. Don't give him the light of day. Too much of him now.

Come on Rev Miller - "Fault me on how you see the outcome, but do not fault me on my conscience"? That sounds a little too much like another phrase often used to duck accountability and encourage excuses and that is, 'the end justifies the means'.

'Dudus' waived his right to a trial in Jamaica. The police had no choice but to hand him over. Now they are going after the Rev Miller. Were the security forces concerned about the pastor harbouring fugitives when he turned in Dudus' brother and sister who were wanted by the police? The Jamaica Constabulary Force is a corrupt state entity and their present actions only go to show the depth of their 'intelligence'.

Rev Al Miller goes back to church

Controversial pastor, the Reverend Merrick 'Al' Miller returned to church Sunday June 27, a few days after being charged with harbouring a fugitive and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Miller's role in the Christopher 'Dudus' Coke saga came to a climax when he was found in the presence of the fugitive who has since been extradited to the United States to face drug and gunrunning charges.
