The stars came out for the Reggae Sumfest launch on Friday, and prominent hotelier Josef Forstmayr was the talk of the town in MoBay on Saturday night.

Email scam again!

1. Yet another business executive has been the subject of an email scam with the contacts being fed the usual line about the individual being stranded abroad without money and seeking help to get back home. In some countries, law enforcement takes these scams seriously and have nabbed the perpetrators as they try to collect the loot. We must do something before it escalates.

Whew! a near miss

2.No one is saying anything out loud, but there are persistent whispers about the attack on a senior member of the law enforcement fraternity during the recent west Kingston stand-off. Some say tyres were blown out and the criminals were repelled after heavy counter from the security forces.

Rejection time
