LIME has declared 2010 the year Montegonians will benefit from a number of innovative initiatives focusing on their comfort and convenience.

In a weekend packed full of activities, senior executives of the organisation led by Managing Director Geoff Houston, invaded the Second City to announce plans geared to ensure customer comfort and convenience at a cocktail reception at Half Moon. The group commenced its activities on the evening of Thursday, June 24, wowing the business community, followed by a free concert at the 'Dump Up' Beach Park for a wider section of the region. On Saturday, the company opened yet another flagship store, this time in the Fairview Shopping Centre, signalling its full-service return to the tourism capital. The store is the third of its kind unveiled by the landline, Internet, mobile, entertainment giants in Montego Bay in the last year.

"It is a retail location where customers can buy credit, pay bills and sign up for services and buy handsets and accessories," says the company's manager of corporate communications, Camille Taylor. There is also a customer service area where customers can get their queries or complaints dealt with.

An added dimension with the Fairview flagship store is the fact that it has a business centre where LIME clients, who operate small and medium-sized or home-based businesses, can get their service issues dealt with.

The weekend ended with an exciting LIME invitational golf tournament at Half Moon's 18-hole championship golf course.
