Who they have met …
Jennifer Lim is quite the social butterfly, and has had the opportunity to travel the world, hobnobbing with many influential persons.
Outside the social scene, Lim is known for her work with charitable organisations from Jamaica to Israel. She is the president of the Women International Zionist Organisation (a Jewish organisation) of Jamaica. She is also the former vice-president of the American Women's Group and sits on the board of the University of Technology.
Of the many influential persons and Hollywood superstars that she has met, one person she would love to meet, and has not yet, is Nelson Mandela.
Lim is also quite the hostess. She has entertained some of the who's who, at home and abroad. When she is not rubbing shoulders with top players or paying patronage to charities, she paints.

Harry Belafonte: He was out-of-this-world, gorgeous and very accommodating. Perhaps best known for singing the 'Banana Boat Song', with its signature lyric, 'Day-O', Belafonte gained Lim's admiration when he visited the island for a book launch at Devon House in Kingston.
..........................................
Paul McCartney: For her, he was quite the Englishman. Lim (left) with singer/songwriter and famed member of the Beatles, Paul McCartney, and his then wife, Linda, when they visited the island for the filming of 'Papillon', starring Steve McQueen.
..........................................
Ralph Lauren: She thought he was very quiet, and he expressed his love for Jamaica. Lim met the popular American designer at the annual Sugar Cane Ball in 2009.
............................................
Colin Powell: She thought he was very strong, dedicated and loyal to his
work. Jennifer Lim (centre) had the privilege of hobnobbing with (from left) former US ambassador to Jamaica Glen Holden, his wife, Gloria, and former US secretary of State General Colin Powell and wife, Alma.
............................................
Steve McQueen: Lim found him "quite down-to- earth" and charming. One of the greatest movie stars ever, Steve McQueen, visited the island for the filming of the 1973 movie, 'Papillon'.
...............................................
Dean Cain: He was such a fun person! Lim (second right) had the opportunity to have danced and had a grand time with movie star Dean Cain, and also hang out with Cain's mother (who is famous in her own right as an actress), Sharon Sarah Thomas (right) and her friend Margie Geddes.
.............................................
Michael Bloomberg: The New York mayor was a very nice and quiet person, who was dedicated to getting the job done.
............................................
Elie Wiesel: Lim thought it was an honour to have met him. Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel, a survivor of the Holocaust, left an impression on Jennifer Lim.
..........................................
Monty Alexander: The famed jazz musician is her cousin whom she never met until they were both adults. She has great admiration for him and they get along very well.

Vivica A. Fox: Lim met Fox at an Elton John party five years ago in California. Lim thought Fox was very beautiful and felt drawn to her because of her warm personality.
