Styleweek Jamaica got off to a hot start on Friday with high fashion for men. Plus, there was polo to be played and the Guardsman boss celebrated another birthday.

Uptown pain

1. Uptown parents are finding it difficult to deal with the shop-lifting charge against their daughter. She was supposed to be studying in America, but apparently she was running with a wild crowd who thought it cute to nick an item here and there, and guess who got caught?

Wigs, making a comeback!

2. It is not true that it was Dudus who started the fashion trend of the year. Wigs are making a big comeback, but that was long before the Ferry lockdown.

True paternity

3. The social circuit is abuzz with paternity talk these days. The cloud hangs dangerously low over the exalted one, as many claim to know the true paternity of the little one. However, the man wearing the jacket is quite elated.

Disgraced on

4. The disgraced employee has apologised in writing and, more yet, the former employer is not satisfied. People are saying there is more to this conflagration than meets the eye.
