Shena shakes up Benetton
Saint International top model Shena Moulton is becoming a global phenomenon.
The supermodel is now one of the faces in the fall Benetton campaign. The campaign is now in magazines and on Benetton’s website. This is the latest in a series of spectacular assignments for the Jamaican superstar.
In a correspondence to The Sunday Gleaner, Saint CEO Deiwght Peters said, “This is the second major campaign in less than a year and this is very special. It is great that she can balance both the editorial (magazine) and the campaign side because that’s what defines a true fashion superstar.”
The Benetton campaign was photographed by internationally respected photographer Josh Olins and styled by Clare Richardson.
Moulton was discovered by Peters on an RJR school tour at Penwood High in 2008. She went on to win the Fashion Face Of The Caribbean and was signed on the spot by international model agency MUSE Models from New York.
The young teen created history when she walked for Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs for two consecutive runway show seasons.
Top designers
Moulton’s personality and svelte figure made her a favourite among some of Paris’s finest designers. As a new face in Paris, she conquered the runways of 12 top designers including Louis Vuitton, Kenzo, Anne Valerie Hash, Commuun, Gaspard Yurkievich and others.
She is a favourite of some of the world’s most powerful casting directors including Russel Marsh, John Pfeiffer and Michelle Lee who are already piling options on her chart.
Moulton now has the distinction of doing the international campaigns for two of the world’s most iconic sports brands in less than a year. She has already appeared in the international campaign for GAP JAPAN, alongside hip hop megastar Pharell Williams.
She was recently flown to New York for an exclusive presentation for Christian Dior. Moulton has appeared for Teen Vogue, Another Magazine, Russian Vogue, Pop and others. New York Magazine has featured her as the Caribbean’s hot new face. Models.com director Wayne Sterling, who met Shena for the first time at the finals of Saint International’s
Fashion Face contest in Kingston, said she was definitely a supermodel in the making.
Moulton is now in New York for the summer, preparing for what many fashion insiders predict will be a record-setting show season.
