Ms Jamaica UK is Jamaica bound

In 2001, Sanchia De'Cage walked away with the coveted Miss Jamaica UK title and today she is on a quest to capitalise on all the opportunities the crown opened up for her.
Chief among them is getting her Jamaican citizenship, passport, driver's licence, Taxpayer Registration Number, and other documents necessary for her intended relocation to the land of her parents' birth.
But why does she want to leave her birth country with all the trappings of First-World existence for a crime-ridden, bureaucracy-bogged one?
Flair asked the smiling De'Cage for answers during her recent visit to the island.
"I want to live here and be a part of the culture; you can't live your life in fear of the negative things that might happen to you, so I want to live in Jamaica in spite of the obstacles that may present themselves," she said.
The daughter of parents from St Catherine and Trelawny said she has skills and experiences she would like to pass down to Jamaican children.
With her training and educational qualifications, De'Cage felt Jamaica needed her more. She has a degree in psychology and a diploma in management.
"I would love to work with children and teens in Jamaica," said De'Cage, who currently works with the Borough of Lambeth in England.
While here, she completed her all-island travel experience and visited the Denham Town Benevolent Society where she met Vice-president Janica Moore-Collins and held a mentoring session with the children affiliated with the organisation. She left the island on August 20.
