Teams to beat
ST ELIZABETH TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL (STETHS)
Position last season: Champions
Returning players: Last year's entire squad minus Deshawn Brown, Tajay Higgins and Romaine Reid.
Key Players: Levaughn Baker, Denmark Gillings, Kevin Farquharson, Romario Thompson, Jason McLean Akeno Jones and Akeemo Palmer.
Name of coach: Andrew Edwards
Coach's view: Our chances are as good as any other team. Our preparation was quite good and while we did not win all our practice matches, we gained useful knowledge and experience. Personally, I have not seen any team to frighten us, so we are expecting a good season.
----------------------------------------------
ST JAMES HIGH SCHOOL

Name of coach: Pastor Hugh Solomon
Coach's view: I believe we have a fairly good chance. We have good quality players with the requisite experience to take us all the way. Once the players apply themselves well, we stand a good chance of becoming champions again.

Position last season: Inter-zone round
Returning players: Lost only two players from last year's unit.
Key Players: Richardo Israel, Ewan Grandison, Odane Brown, Justin Johnson and Gerald Eastwood.
Name of coach: Merron Gordon
Coach's view: As long as the players play to instructions and stay focused and disciplined, I believe we stand a very good chance of doing quite well. We are not frightened by any of the teams so we will be going into this competition quite confident that we will do well this season.
--------------------------------------------------
CLARENDON COLLEGE
Position last season: Inter-zone round
Returning players: Fifty per cent of last year's starting team.
Key Players: Oshane Dobson, Denton Brown and Milton Hinds are considered key players, but according to the coach, the emphasis will be on team rather than individuals.

Coach's view: We have a fairly young team with a few experienced players in the mix. However, while we have capable players with the ability to do well, I would be pleasantly surprise if we should go on to win the title, but let us see.
Teams to watch
---------------------------------------------------
MANCHESTER HIGH
Position last season: Runners-up
Returning players: Lost all but one player from last year's starting team.
Key Players: Sheldon Parkes, Oral Johnson, Troy Mope and Delroy Miller.
Name of coach: Barry Watson Sr
Coach's view: We have a sustainable programme here so while we have lost so many players from last year's team, I am still expecting that we will give a good account ourselves. Our preparation has been quite good and we intend to play good football this season.
----------------------------------------------------

Returning players: Lost only three players from last year's starting team.
Key Players: Ramon Foster, Nicodia Haughton, Jermaine Woozencraft, Wonnick Pinnock and Brian Brown.
Name of coach: Anthony 'Follies' Williams and Emerson 'Diggy' Henry.
Coach's view: We have a fairly good unit and I expect them to be very competitive. I am not saying we are going to win the title but after going unbeaten in 10 practice games, I would be very disappointed if this team did not give a very good account of itself this season.
