Coaches disappointed with draw

Former champions, Bridgeport and Tivoli Gardens played to an exciting 1-1 draw in their Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA)/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup match at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex yesterday.
Ajei Benjamin scored for Tivoli in the 49th minute, while Ramone Howell scored the equaliser for the Portmore-based Bridgeport in the 90th-minute.
Anthony Patrick, coach of Bridgeport, was very displeased with the performance of his senior players who failed to obey his instructions.
"I am very upset with our senior players because I think they let us down today," said Patrick. "They did everything wrong today because they were the ones who were in charge on the field and they did not follow none of my instructions out there."
Bounce back
Patrick added: "However, we will definitely bounce back in our next game because we will have a number of our top players available."
Tivoli's coach Dave Clarke was also very dissatisfied with his team's efforts.
"I am not pleased with this result because this is a game that we should have won, especially playing at home," said Clarke.
He added: "This is a very soft Bridgeport team and we should have won this game by at least three clear goals. Our players who were out there playing were just going through the motions because none of them was prepared to give their all for the team."
Both teams created a number of clear-cut chances in the first half, but Joy Lindsay, Leon Ellis and Roger Bucknor squandered easy chances for Bridgeport and Damion Wright and Verince Dillion missed goalmouth opportunities for Tivoli.
