- Torn by Buju's situation
I am torn by this situation. Buju's music has served as an inspiration for so many people. We have listened to the evolution of an artiste from the raunchy dancehall hit Batty Rider to the conscious lyrics in Destiny. My own evolution as a person has been influenced by the music of this great Jamaicans music icon.
If what Buju is being accused of is true, then his greed is a reflection of the 'ultra-materialistic' people Jamaicans have become.
Despite my concerns, I can not move pass my love for the artiste and I am hopeful the outcome of his trial will end with an acquittal.

- Cut his losses
LOL ... first he asked if there were any contacts to buy cocaine, then on another instance he tasted it ... like a pro? Y'all think this dude is not guilty? The lawyers have only taken this case to bleed his money from him. His best bet is to cut his losses, plead with the court, serve his time and save his money.

- Cocaine has no taste
A 'pro' does not taste cocaine to test it. Doing that would result in nothing more than his tongue going numb, which is no indication of purity of the drug, etc. At best, it is an amateur move, one that is seen in the movies for dramatic effect. Cocaine itself has no taste.

- BUJU can't get life
Buju Banton can't get life if he is convicted! Unless Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton also get life for their cocaine possession. The US government must shut down its market, so people like Myrie don't have that market to either sell or buy drugs!

- Save your money
Serve your time and save your money ... if you are guilty! Because at the end of the day, Buju Banton and his lyrics will never die! Big up Buju, can't wait for you to come back bigger and better!!

- Overzealous prosecution
We constantly hear government informers take the stand in court and testify of being on-site during various transactions, only to be burdened with the guilt of lying. Oftentimes we hear about people being released from prison after serving long, lengthy time for crimes they did not commit. The perfect legal system of the United States is just a myth. This is more than overzealous prosecution of a Reggae music icon. The arrest of Buju Banton is a direct fraud of the United States legal court system, because there is no justice in revenge. Have a read of the book Behold the Pale Horse. The closet doors have been torn off, they are all now in full swing.
